We went into Bishop’s Stortford this morning to get some odds and ends starting with breakfast and later in the morning, coffee, but no cake. I was amazed to see how many people were using their own shopping bags, since the charge of 5p a bag came in. I wonder how long it will last? Or maybe the plastic bag manufacturers will go out of business!
Today’s blip is another reminder of Autumn. I saw these in the hedgerow as I backed my car down the drive and although we have these in the garden, I decided that these were better examples.
I am not going to mention the ‘C’ word although there are only seventy-one more sleeps, but I got my book out today. I keep records of cards and presents from year to year and have books going back to 1982; sad or what??
