Today it has been cold again, but dry. I thought as it was cold and the feeders were all full that I would have a bird as my blip today. They seem to have deserted our garden today although there were some, but they did not stay still long enough for a decent picture; keeping warm in the hedgerows perhaps.
I got fed up waiting for the birds so I decided that my husband; with his head in the kitchen loft would be my picture today. We no longer have any builders on site to complete the work and my husband, (the GOG) has made a start on the kitchen. On checking the kitchen loft, which we emptied many moons ago, he discovered that our roofer, had left rather a mess; when the loft hatch was removed, it showered down pieces of wood and various buts of debris, over various things including my husband. He was not amused.
I started making some pickles yesterday; my daughter and granddaughter have made their Christmas cake today.
