A visit to Saffron Walden with my daughter this morning to have our nails done and then we had a look in a few shops, also visiting both Waitrose and Tesco before coming home.
A small amount of work was done in the afternoon and then in the evening, we went out to the Coach and Horses in the village for a meal with our daughter. The rest of her family were out, the grandchildren to two different Halloween parties and her husband to meet with some of his work colleagues.
The weather started wet, but it turned out to be a dry and fairly mild day for the end of October.
