Another cold, wet, dreary day, but there was plenty of indoor work to be done so not a problem. I took this picture of a Vinca Major Variegated flower (Periwinkle) flower when I stopped for a while at lunchtime.
The meal, for my birthday last night at the Coach and Horses in the village was excellent and the soup, according to my husband was the best he had ever had. We often go there for Sunday lunch, but had not been for the special Christmas meal; I suspect we will go there for my birthday again next year.
I seen to have succumbed to the virus, which seems to be spreading like wildfire; several of my students have it too. Coughing fits and croaky voice are not good when trying to talk to students on the telephone.
