Today we visited our family for pizza and cake to celebrate Oliver’s birthday, which was yesterday, and my birthday, which was earlier in the week.
We usually go out for lunch, but on this occasion, as the young people (except Victoria who is not old enough) had been out celebrating the night before until the early hours of the morning, it was decided that this arrangement would be best.
Today’s picture shows Oliver blowing out a candle on a small gluten-free Victoria sandwich. There was a variety of other cakes, including cup cakes and brownies made by Victoria as well as fruit cake, muffins and bakewell tarts to cater for all tastes.
