Today we went into Cambridge quite early and had the usual stops for breakfast, coffee and cake. I remembered to go to Lakeland to buy a new potato peeler and managed to buy a few extra items too. Around lunchtime we met with some friends. Then, before coming home, we went to British Home Stores as I wanted to purchase two new cut glass tumblers only to find that the ones I wanted, were no longer stocked; Amazon to the rescue maybe?
It was raining when we left home this morning and although there were one or two light showers, it was quite warm and the sun shone for most of the day.
Today’s picture, of people waiting for their bus, was taken with my iPhone, it was raining heavily when we left home, so I left my ‘proper’ cameras at home as I did not want to get them wet; I regretted it as soon as I got to Cambridge.
