I keep looking atvthe photo that you posted on nov 4th. It us a wonderful photo. I love the way that the woman with the backpack is placed in the photo. She is the subject but the background is so compelling as well. How about as a challenge, continue with this idea: separate a main subject from its background in a dramatic way, as you did with the photographer. The subject doesn't have to be a person but it could be.
