Thank you Diana for allowing us to paint this gorgeous shot https://365project.org/ludwigsdiana/fun-shots/2021-02-24
I used watercolours in this. First, as I did with the urban sketches, I drafted it all in pencil, and then added colour. There are a couple of layers, especially on the purple flowers. On the green stems, I also used watercolour pencils to better define them. I did this along a couple of days. I have no idea how long it took me. Maybe 4-5 hours. maybe more. @monikozi
@monikozi gosh you got the vibrancy spot on Moni. You've really got the layers, giving a three D image, and I particularly love that little frond top left corner.
Thank you , lovely gang. @casablanca@njmom3@maggiemae@30pics4jackiesdiamond@jacqbb@kjarn@wakelys@grammyn@salza
Well, Katy, sometimes I surprise myself too.
Frankly, with this one, I had nothing in mind. I could not picture in my mind how i wanted it to look like. So i went on and on, and at some point it felt that what i wanted to do (some highlights) were already overdoing it. So i stopped. Luckily that part is hardly visible (the stems on the right hand cluster of blooms, part of them, have a white layer, if you zoom in an look closely).
So, i have no idea if i could have done it better. Worse yes, because i saw the previous states, and had i stopped then, it would have been dull and ugly.
