Here we go!

As requested.....the collage individually so you can see it on your phone!

Based on a photograph my son took when he trekked from Lukla to Everest Base Camp in the Himalayas when he was 16. These Indiana Jones style bridges were common over deep chasms and they wobbled! The coloured flags are Bhuddist prayer flags and they are everywhere in the Himalayas.

Casablanca
@casablanca I just realised what bothers me here: the trees are a bit flat and there is a lot of white. Maybe it was snow... that way, it would work. But i like the perspective on the bridge. Well done!

@casablanca love the bridge and all the little flags, the trees could have used a little bit more dark green in them. But is is overall a great painting!

@casablanca you get a better sense of the bridge and perspective seeing it as a single picture.

@monikozi @jacqbb I know what you mean! It was very sandy coloured in the gaps between the trees, really quite a bright shade. But yes, the trees lack depth. No idea how to do that......I am guessing maybe add some darker shades of the green with less water?

@casablanca you have captured the feeling of the bridge perfectly. It could not have been easy to do all those little lines!

@casablanca - yes, darker shades on the trees to the fore left of the bridge. i think the right part of the trees has some depth in it as well as the upper left. but the sense of wobbleness and height of the bridge is well portrayed here. aces!

when i was a a lot younger, i dreamed of going to the himalayas and climb the everest and try and find the bodies of george mallory and irvine. i was obsessed with their story. but then husband brought me to a 'jungle' in malaysia and we had to cross a bridge similar to this and i told him there was no way i was crossing it -- with my luck i'm in the middle of it and that's when it would collapse. 🤣
