It is the RSPBs Big Garden Birdwatch weekend so thanks to @emmadurnford for the idea I decided to take a picture of a bird in our garden. Unfortunately the birds obviously figured this out and although we provide them with loads of feed throughout the year today they were not keen to join in my project, so apart from a couple of blurred shots of some flighty sparrows this was my best attempt.
Wow - lovely and sharp and well composed as I know how difficult it is to get into the right position to capture the birds with no twigs in front of them! We only had 7 of the more common species in our garden for the RSPB count this weekend.
