Stourhead stone bridge - 16-2

This bridge/tunnel is at Stourhead gardens and is made of stone. It's a great place to go and take photos and thankfully not far from where I live.

I love the hard, jagged silhouette of the back of the arch in contrast to the softness of the vegetation. Nice capture.

This is a wonderful stone monument ( What was it made for ?)Like the light shingin throught the tunnel. I think the road sign isn't all that bad , it adds just the right spot of colour to the shot- Its hard anyway to get the texture of the rocks with them being weathered

What a pretty archway, I don't mind the road sign, you have the tarmac, so the sign is not out of place
