This is the view we have from our kitchen and bedroom window. It is a beautiful view of what is called Cockroad and Coneygore wood. It looks different all the the time as the light catches different aspects and illuminates the various trees species among which are Douglas Fir, Willow, Oak, Larch, Hazel, and ash. To be honest with my limited photographic skills this photograph doesn’t do it justice.
The photograph is made tricky by the hedge in the fore ground, I instinctively feel as that it would be better taken from the other side. A few months ago, @stoat took a picture called “Over the hedge” at the time I said I have an “Over the hedge”
I have cropped out a bit of the fore ground and sky.
This is the photo I took from the same spot in Feb http://365project.org/barrowlane/365/2013-02-17
I clearly remember your shot from a while back, its nice to see the same view with all the green in the spring. Fantastic view ,did you take this in the morning, because of the mist between the trees?
@khirsch thanks. Yes I did take it this morning. It had been raining and I thought the low cloud would add atmosphere. The clouds this evening would have been nice too.
@happypat@mcmary thank you it is beautiful. Our neighbour who worked in forestry loves to stand and look across at the trees. He says each time you look it has changed and that is true. He picks out all the different types of trees. I think he planted some.
This is a really nice crop, its always tempting to leave in the usual format but this works really nicely. Another example of 365 telepathy - I linked todays shot of our tree to one a week ago to show leaf process!
What a beautiful view you have every day!! Lucky you!!! This is so lovely! Love the soft look and various colors of green. The fog in the background really set it off! Excellent!
@eyesmile@helixconcepts thanks for the kind words every day you see something different. It is not easy for me to capture the real beauty of it though.
