Have been driving past these bales for a few days and today decided to take there picture. This summer is so much better than the past few years when hay making was so difficult that most of the grass around here was baled for silage and wrapped like the ones in my TakeTwo folder today.
This is an awesome shot with a bale in the foreground to show the immense size of them, and then the bales going on forever to show the sheer volume of them.
Looks like you had a decent hay crop this year. We have lots as well, but it is so hard to get it done up dry!
@farmreporter Thanks for the comments. This year has been good weather wise for hay unlike more recent years we have had a good long spell of dry weather. I have heard though that the late spring and relatively dry and cold back end to winter has meant that there is a lighter grass crop than normal. As usual you cant have everything!
