Church of St Stephen - 25-10

There are two Churches in my village this is St Stephens the bigger of the two. I this angle probably does not show it off to its best but I liked the 3 headstones.
What a gracious little church - although it probably was not considered little when it was built!
So much history in those stone walls. And in the surrounding graveyard/
Very nice processing on this shot. Those headstones do a wonderful job of framing the door.

This looks a very old church Rob, is it used for services still? Grave stones standing like guards at the door!

A very charming church...and the headstones add to the character. Lovely in B&W and fitting of the season!!! Nicely captured!

I found my eye drawn to the 3 gravestones even though they aren't central, wonderful little church

@happypat @farmreporter Thanks for the comments it is a medieval parish church and is still used regularly. This picture does not do it justice really I will take some more that show it off better.

Kev
Tricky things to take without a really wide lens as they're inevitably covered in large trees but this is not a bad job, Rob.

@snaggy Thanks Kev. One thing I cant seem to achieve is getting the uprights edges vertical they always lean or taper. I see in your photos you seem to get near perfect uprights vertices etc. Any tips?
