fly-killing fungus -29-09

I noticed loads of these flies clinging to the stalks of rushes and was puzzled. They seemed lifeless but I thought may be they were emerging from some sort of larvae. After doing some research I now think they may have been infected by a fungus, Entomophthora muscae!
