This is my eldest son yesterday at the show jumping. As you can see he enjoys photography too. I am quite envious of his camera and lens. Olympus OMDEM1 MK2. And 40-150 zoom. I would quite like to replace my old Nikon D7000 and sigma 70-200. Not that I'm unhappy with quality of the photographs I get but the Olympus Micro 4/3 kit is not as heavy and from what I have seen produces some excellent photographs. May one day I will treat myself.
I think your old Nikon works really well. You are able to get exceptional pictures of people. It is nice that you and yours son share hobbies and interests He looks like a very pleasant person.
Nice portrait. I too debate with myself if I should by a new tele for the Fuji or use the Nikon when I need the tele or the prime 50. I bought the Fuji to go around with a lighter camera and now I go around with three times the weight🙃
