I like to go into town on a Tuesday lunchtime and have a walk arround Salisbury market it attracts a certain type and there is usually something to to catch my eye in the short space of time I have. It is nothing like t used to be however seemingly getting smaller each year. When I was a kid in the school holidays one of my uncles would take me to town on the bus on a Tuesday and we would alway have a plate cockles from one of the stalls. A bit of salt and pepper and loads of vinegar. Fond memories!
