I picked up a cheap pair of RGB LED lights. They screw into a regular bulb socket. They cast a pretty small, focused pool of light.
They aren't too bright, and I'm not sure how useful they'll be, but they were only $2.95 each, so I can't complain. They come with a remote to change the color.
They sound like unbelievable value... and I love the effect. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of these, after all, GM does like being in the spotlight.
I like the myriad blues and greens on the floor there. You must spend hours playing in your workshop! Are the family allowed in or is it your private domain?
@casablanca - I usually get a photo-of-the-day done in around a half hour to 45 min., from the idea, setup and lighting, taking pictures, editing, posting, and putting everything away. Sometimes a little more or less, depending on complexity.

Pretty much the same in our house. No-one is banned from hubby's garage but mostly it's him who enjoys it in practice. Man Caves are cool places and very useful as hiding places should guests you're not so keen on arrive! 😉
