Most of the photos I post here come out of my basement workshop, but occasionally I do step outside and take a few photos. Usually, it's while I'm going hiking, biking, or attending an event, and it's usually early afternoon, when the sun is high in the sky and the shadows are harsh.
Yesterday I decided to see what all the fuss about "golden hour" was about, and took a ride down town a little before sunset. Turns out, it's great.
It sure is great! What a fabulous image. Well worth you stepping outside your basement and giving your grey men a break from their modelling duties, I'd say
