Miter Sled + an art
I made a miter sled for my table saw, to make 45 degree cuts much easier and safer to do.
Of course to test it out I had to make a picture frame. And the picture frame needed some art, so I made that too.
It's just an octopus cut out of 1/4" wood on a scroll saw, glued to another wood backer, and painted with a faux copper patina.
The miter sled is made completely from scrap wood and the picture frame started it's life as a shipping palette.

You always make your creations seem so easy to do... and I know they're not.

A rather ingenious solution. The octo art shows some nice scroll control.
