Half way through the snow storm.

I took this photo yesterday, half way through the snow storm. This morning, that space between the car and the house was filled in knee-deep by snow drifts. I had to shovel out and climb in the passenger's side door and scoot over to the drivers side to get in and start it.

It's all cleaned up now.

That sounds like quite an adventure! Is this much snowfall rare for where you live? Never get it like this in my bit of England!

@casablanca - We get a storm like this a couple times a season. Owning a decent sized snow blower is a great way to save yourself a lot of back pain.
