my speedy cyclist (shot by his dad) at the joe martin stage race in fayetteville, arkansas last weekend. this multi-day event combines the cyclists' times in three disciplines: time trial, road race, and criterium. my boy competed in the cat4 races with 58 men, and finished 15th overall in the general classification. to break it down, he was 31st in the time trial, 8th in the road race, and 14th in the criterium--all while recovering from a virus! i'm just amazed by his discipline and dedication to this sport he loves.
