today was the okc pro-am cycling event in bricktown--it was a really super inaugural event! my boy raced two back-to-back races: juniors at 1:20, followed by mens' cat4 at 2:00. he was trying to conserve his energy a bit during the first race, and he placed 5th and won $25. in the second race, he was doing well until he ran out of water about half-way thru. he finished, but not as well as he hoped and feeling pretty rotten. (he's in the photo above in his red & white rad racing kit with dark helmet). regardless of the outcome, it was a great day!
