charley has decided he doesn't prefer to go to his cage when i leave during the day, thankyouverymuch. instead, when he can tell i'm packing up to go, he slinks up the stairs on his tippy-toes (i'm not kidding, he's trying to be quiet!) and peeks around the stairwell wall to see if he's pulled one over on me. he is a funny, funny dog.
