thought i would introduce my new 365 friends to my fun family!
we took these strips in an old-fashioned photo booth (don't you LOVE those?!) at a penny arcade on a recent trip. my boys are away at camp, so since i can't take a photo of them today this is the next best thing!
the 'flash' you see on the strip on the left is from the photo booth curtain blowing in on us! and i played with the tint in picasa--i've never done that before! i think it's appropriate, since i'm feeling a little 'blue' missing them!
That's such fun! I just mailed your site to my daughter who *loves* film strips...she even has a book of people's film-strip photos. Well thanks, Brett, now I can say more easily, "Nice to know you"! (There was a thread not so long ago where people were trying to get everyone to write a profile, so I was just doing my 365 duties by asking!)
My daughter is Heather M in the green coat profile pix on my comment list. Just drop her a comment and ask the name of the book. She'd be delighted to share the info.
To add any link when you write a comment or in your daily photo caption, just go to the site you want, and copy the link at the top of the page and "paste" it into what you're writing. (Some of us are even adding youtube music where appropriate or links to other web sites for further information or more photos... It's become a very creative group...you'll start seeing it now that you know to watch for it...)
Well, this highly addictive web site has me sitting here at 12:30, and I've got to give up eventually! It's nice getting to know you, and I'll be happy to answer any more questions if I can or just swap comments in the months ahead.

I did see your comments on my photo strip shot. Thanks :) As best I can tell, if you get a new comment on a photo of yours, you'll get a notification. However if you respond to someone on a photo that they did not take, they may not see it unless they go back to that photo. Like if I make some comment to my mom here, she won't know it's here unless she comes back to this photo. Make sense?
