my oldest son, the newest member of the 'rad racing' jr cycling team!! he met and rode with the coach yesterday, and was THRILLED he was asked to be part of the team. equally thrilling was receiving his official jersey and bibs with all the team sponsors printed upon it. here he is out for a ride this evening, all decked out in his new kit, representing the team!
Brett, please pass on a big congratulations to your Son. I am happy to hear he made the team, and I'm sure he is thrilled as well to have made the spot. That is so neat for someone his age. It gives him a head start into something he may continue to pursue.
Hey! Great shot! I didn't actually know Brockodile was your son, but I found the name and photo cute and thought I'd support him. Wish I'd gotten into photography at his age, imagine what I'd be doing today if I had. Anyways, keep up the great shots, I love checking in, and God bless! :)
It's evident he made a good impression in short order! Congratulations to him for making the team and getting all the accompanying sports clothing! I like that your picture nicely features that on his evening ride! ...I'm delighted to watch Brock's progress as a photographer, and am quite impressed with his manners. You're doing a nice job of raising nice young men... The pleasure's all mine!
Brett, the lens is a f/4 which is the max aperture (wide open). It is constant thru the zoom range of 200-400mm. I usually try to stop it down to f/5.6 or f/8 depending on the light and shutter speed I need. So, yes it's a constant aperture lens
Great shot, love the processing! And congrats to your "lil" man - this is such wonderful news, what a great way to start the new school year. What a super star!
Congrats to him! Way to go.
I have gone back to Paul's twice recently; today and he wasn't there and last time he was crazy buzy so I still haven't spoken to him. I did get to talk to one of the local artists who had her paintings hanging in his shop recently so at least I found out what his deal is (he takes 20% of what you sell). She didn't sell anything but said that was a very fair take. She also gave me some encouragement too. I am definately going to ask him though. Thanks for checking back with me on it.
Thanks for your note with my beach picture, Brett. Yes, I only brought my wide angle lens. Went back today with the telephoto, but didn't want to be switching lenses while sitting in the sand! It was a whole different view of things!
Your son did make me smile! So funny.... he is fitting right into this site. I can tell he has a big heart! I LOVE his shot of the M&M's.
The oldest looks great in all his gear....I bet he was super excited!
I added a response to your thread about the questions you asked about the lens. I hope it helps!
