friday. football. friends. fall. i love it! tonight was the season opener at our boys' school. their school is k-12, and everyone turns out for friday night football games. my nephew played so great--he scored 3 touchdowns! but what makes it even more special is that at the season openers for his freshman and sophomore years (BOTH!!) he was injured in the first quarter--and out for the season. he has had such a positive attitude, and worked so hard, and it was very evident tonight as he led the crusaders to a 33-0 victory!!
Sounds like it was a great game, and congrats to your Nephew for the ongoing spirit. Those must have been tough years to go through those type of injuries but it sounds as though he has the right frame of mind. Good for him!
