Especially to their assigned elementary student whom they mentor... This was the banner last year's PALs made! PALs must obtain high-scoring teacher recommendations to enter the program, have good grades, no discipline referrals and excellent attendance. They are a great group of high school students! I am privileged to share a classroom with them and their teacher who is also my great friend:)

I think it's a good program, and also a good idea to have the students chosen in such a way. It increases the likelihood of stronger and more positive mentoring
