This side of the island has a very strong under current, the sea is dangerous and is rocky with sharp rocks, I’ve never swam here!
I have a huge respect for the sea.
There’s a corridor of NO stones for the surfers
a daily job of clearing them. When the sea is rolling it’s really spectacular. I’ll keep my eye on the news and return for a great action photo.
The max surfers I’ve ever seen is 12…. It’s not so popular and that was a competition
On the horizon you can see the dust, there’s a layer of fine dust everywhere, the dust comes from the Middle East - the dust is monitored daily and the P I shared. We have days when they advice do not go out? If you have breathing issues.
2024 I begin my 3rd Year…
I have absolutely loved and embraced this challenge, I feel incredibly grateful to have discovered 365 when I was learning...
Wow interesting about the perils. I found the trainers that I'd walked in when we were in Petra in Jordan, left where I'd put them when I unpacked. They looked very dusty and when I put my hand inside they were full of sand - felt quite lovely to think I'd brought some Petra dust home with me 🤣
@carole_sandford hello it’s a hop skip and a jump from barracas off the tok’s rd. I went only for walking & photos, I like my local beach’s where it’s safer to swim, I swim 7-8am before my day begins
