Beautiful oak… not just a stool

I love oak… my favourite tree

I’ve never really thought about the history of a stool, but was drawn to google it…

Stools, which are among the oldest forms of wooden furnishings, may also serve as decorative pieces. Many claim that the stool was first invented by the Varangian Guard, an elite unit of the Byzantine Army in the 10th through 14th century.

Oak is my choice of wood furniture too...everything in my house is made of Oak but now you can't even find it in furniture stores.
