WW2 Veteran honored

This was at the Yankee - Mets game. The picture on the left was at home plate and the picture on the right was the jumbo tron.

I wish I had taken note of his name, but I do remember he was in the Pacific Theater. I can tell he enjoyed the honor, and I'm glad he did. The Yankees certainly enjoyed meeting him.

So few of these fine men left. It's fitting that he was honored this way.
