This was a couple waiting to photograph the Sand Hill cranes coming into water last evening at a pond just outside of Bosque Del Apache Wildlife Refuge.
I just love this photo. They're obviously tired (long day, apparently), but ready for the evening with chairs and tripod. I love how his hand is just resting near her. Sweet soulmates, a slice of real life much in the manner of Norman Rockwell.
