Sitting in a Cell!

Day 28 - A spot of lunch in The Golden Hope, Sittingbourne. This Grade II listed building was built in 1856 as a Police Station and then used as a Magistrates’ Court until it closed it's doors around 2011/12. After being purchased by the JD Wetherspoon chain the building reopened it's doors in 2015 after having undergone major renovations which saw many of the original features kept including the cells, which were turned into individual eating booths.
