Day 187 - This lovely Tudor house is actually a copy of a 16th century Tudor house. It's called Manna House and is in the village of Upnor, Medway. it was built by Walter Roberts (a carpenter) who'd always dreamt of building he's own home. He started it on 4th August 2003 and took over 4 years to complete. The timber used was from 30 felled oak trees at cost of £10,000 and the bricks used were made in the Tudor style, from the same materials, method and shape (2 inches thick) as original Tudor bricks would have been made.
