Rye Castle also known as Ypes Tower

Day 287 - Henry III gave permission for the castle to be built in 1249 as part of the defenses against the frequent raids by the French. The Tower has had many roles in its history since being a fort, from a private dwelling, a prison, a court hall, a mortuary and now a museum.
Lovely detailed capture.
