Day 82 - I went to my favourite haunt today 'Elmley Nature Reserve' I love going there but today I had the right hump, I spotted lots of hawks and marsh harriers hovering on the wind but ever time I got anywhere near enough to take a picture they flew further away, I took some but they were just blurred, so I've come to the conclusion either I'm rubbish or I need a new camera! I did manage to take some of the Redshanks legging it through the water! Yesterday wasn't any better I went to get pictures of the Kingsnorth chimney being blown up and they were even blurred! :(
Loely shot of this great looking bird. I have issues with my camera too and come up with mostly blurred shots! I must have changed a setting somewhere, not even sure what. Quite a pain :-(
this is quite clear - maybe you are for the failed shots you describe, (and I don't know your camera) zooming past the optical zoom into the digital zoom - which will not give you sharp results?
@louannwarren I thought that as well but closer subjects seem alright. @ludwigsdiana I'm going to get my husband to reset the camera back to factory settings to see if that helps. @susiemc Thank you - I think perhaps today was just a bad day! @anniesue I do think your right, my camera is only a bridge camera (Fujifilm X-s1) and I do tend to try and take pictures with the lens fully out! @mittens Thank you. @chrisiow Thank you.
Thank you all for your comments, it's all I can do to stop my husband going out and buying me a new one, he says as I've stuck at a hobby (for a change)! beyond a year, I should have something that works for me - in conclusion I've told him I need to master this one first! 😊
I agree with your feeling - exhaust the possibilities of this camera and then you will know what it can't do no matter how much work at it - and then you will know you want from your next camera
