Train spotting!

Day 91 - Today we went on the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway (SKLR). Growing up in Sittingbourne, these steam trains have always been around (in one way or another - this a link to the trains website http://www.sklr.net/ for more information). The line was built in 1905 for the transportation of the raw materials required for the manufacture of paper at the then Lloyds Paper Mill and the finished product. The line is built to a gauge of 2′ 6″ and continues to use the steam engines and rolling stock that were supplied to operate the railway in its working life prior to preservation in 1969.
Lovely red engine.
