Day 299 - I nearly stuck my hand on this moth as I opened my front door, it was camouflaged against the brickwork - I'm petrified of them and came over all funny but I braved it out to snap a very quick picture of it!
I believe it to be closely related to the Fall Army Moth family.... I still find it beautiful and love the fact it blends in with the colors on your brickwork!
@jeanniec57 I wish I could find them beautiful, they just make me cringe! @louannwarren Any moth is HUGE! in my eyes! @ludwigsdiana It sure was, it's now made me wary of going out in the dark when the outside lights are on! @susiemc I may have been brave at the time but when my husband left the door opened to go to the bins it came in, I shut myself in the toilet and refused to come out until he had captured it! @mandygravil Thank you, I'm surprised it came out as clear as it did!
