Day 9 - We visited our daughter at University today, mum's delivery service (taking her cases of clothes back), makes a change from mum's taxi service! While I was waiting for her, I had a little walk to the end of her accommodation block and came across the canal, how lucky is she to have this view/walk in London. It's the Regent's Canal with the Mile End Park on the other side of the Canal.
@susiemc Thank you for your comment. I hadn't realised there was a canal there, I can't wait to go back in the Summer and go for a walk along it! @sarahlth Thank you for your comment
Love those narrow boats. I`ve seen many of them because:
Regent`s channel is a very old memory and familiar to me. In 1958 I have saild 3/4 of a year, on a boat, regulair, once a week, from Rotterdam to te R.C. docks in London. We load often our cargo from them.
@pyrrhula How lucky for you to have been on the delightful narrow boats I'd love to go on one! @4rky I plan to go back when it's warmer and do a lot more pictures!
Thank you both for your comments
