Day 96 - Today for our daily exercise we had a slightly longer walk (more than our usual 10 minutes)! We have driven past this church, St Bartholomew's Church, Bobbing many times before but never walked past it. The oldest part of the church standing today is believed to be the north isle which is thought to have been built between 1216 and 1230 and to have been commissioned by King Henry III. The main part of the church as it stands now was likely to have been added in the 14th Century. The south wall of the original church was converted into pillars and arches and it is thought all of the windows were replaced at this time.
