Day 230 - I found this huge green caterpillar in my garden and am reliable informed by Mr Google that it is a Privet Hawk Moth caterpillar, I also made the HUGE mistake of looking at what the moth looked like - I wish I hadn't as they can be the size of the palm of your hand, I'm terrified of moths, even looking at them make my flesh crawl and I hadn't realised there was such a big one in the UK!
@marlboromaam I'm trying not to think about that! @monicac It was certainly a pretty glowing green colour! @koalagardens I've been terrified of moths since childhood when one flew up under my hair and got tangled in! @louannwarren I try not to leave the doors or windows open when it's dark, just incase! @ingrid01 And hopefully it won't ever be near me! @bkbinthecity Thank you @4rky Yes luckily, I'm not sure how long it has been in the garden as it was easy to spot!
