Day 229 - At the top of our garden behind our neighbours fence they have very tall black stem bamboo, in May 2022 we had to dig up the whole of the back border and removed all the bamboo that was growing in our garden, we replaced the weed membrane and re-stoned on top, here we are 27 months down the line and it's back again, these roots are from a small section we have a lot more to do!
As the neighbours are not going to do anything about it we are having to deal with it, our idea is to dig a 2ft deep trench by 6inches wide the length of the back fence and fill with concrete, hopefully making a barrier - we aren't getting any younger to deal with this every other year!
@marlboromaam @ludwigsdiana Our neighbours spoke to the owners of the house behind us, as the bamboo came up through the floor of their shed, they just same we didn't put it in and we like it! @busylady It all depends which type you have, we have some in our garden since we moved in 10 years ago and it's not moved from the spot, just got taller
