Fav. Well spotted and a fabulous capture. He is a beauty. Have never seen a butterfly with these markings. He could be a moth.

@wakelys @sangwann Apparently it’s the Cinnabar Moth and is quite common. But best not to touch as it feeds off ragwort and could potentially cause a rash. @bkbinthecity Thank you very much folks for the comments but especially the Fav. Very much appreciated.
