This was the last of the ice patch on one area if our driveway, that I chopped and shoveled away yesterday. It had been covered and insulated by snow for two weeks or so. The drift was so deep and hard that my husband was able to stand on it and touch the top of the tree, which is taller than the roofline of the house. We’d had freezing rain before it turned to snow, hence the thick ice. Now it’s all gone, just in time for another snowstorm tomorrow!
