Last Glimpse of Summer

As we leave summer behind and enter into fall I thought it would be nice to take a shot of a typical street in one of the older neighbourhoods. Many of the street s in the older areas of the city have so many trees that provide a beautiful landscape for those living there.
This was taken as I was walking to work. Around 7:30 am. Not much activity except one car on the road with someone else going off to work perhaps.

I think every city has an older section which is tree-lined. They're so nice, you don't even feel like you're in the city. Very nice!

What a lovely tunnel of trees! Fall is in the air in Louisiana, too, but it's different here--80 instead of 90 degrees! But I'm looking forward to it....
