The Old Is Now New

Edmonton has decided to go with a new look to the police cars. They have decided to go with the black and white look. This is going back to the classic look for a police car. We had these colours going back I would say at least 50+ years at least.. I am 48 and I do not remember seeing these colours. I have seen police cars this colour that have been used in parades.
Our current colours are a white car with a red and blue stripe running down the side. I think I like this much bettter
This is cool!! Love the color . . this LOOKS like a police car!!

@olivetreeann Thanks. I would have to agree with that sentiment for sure

We could maybe use the example and go back to the simpler ways in a lot of other areas!

@doitforfun That would be nice

lots of police forces around --- different towns, provincial, federal, old, new, SUV's, etc, i can't keep track of the colours any more. these looks fast and very clean! looks like an unmarked one across the street. cool street shot.

I love black and white police cars - the symbolism is perfect (good guys, bad guys, white hat, black hat) and they are so instantly recognizable.
