Shop Till You Drop by bkbinthecity

Shop Till You Drop

Wow has this month ever been super busy. Yesterday I did take some pictures but we did not get home until later in the evening after we had supper with some friends. I was so tired that I went straight to bed when I got home so I am posting yesterday's photo today.
This was taken in West Edmonton Mall. (note to self: avoid the mall on a Saturday in December) When I saw all these shoppers sitting around the statue I had to go up to the second level and walk back to get this shot from this view.
I think this gives true meaning to shop till you drop
Well we are off to a Christmas Banquet at our church tonight so I will be back later tonight to post a something for today
This is so interesting! The shape of the round bench, the statue, and the reflections are great. Nice POV.

like the statue in the middle too - sure you couldn't tag it with a heroes theme too?

haha! I also follow that note...but I did go to the mall yesterday, but I was there in the morning to beat the rush! It wasn't too crowded.

I love your note to self. :) When I shop, I start early and leave by noon. I hate crowds.

Great shot- I think you've definitely captured the ridiculous shopping frenzy so many put themselves through! Love the perspective and the circular composition! Loved your "note to self" insert too!

Awesome capture, Brian! Great perspective! I dread the Christmas crowds!

Clever idea for a photo! I love your POV in this one. And your title is perfect. I make it a point of pride to avoid the mall at all costs, but obviously I'm missing some great photo ops.

OMG you are so brave to hit West Ed on a Saturday in December. You could not pay me enough to do that! Great pov here.
December 12th, 2011
