Are You Ready To Ruuuuuumble !!!!

So we were at West Edmonton Mall on the weekend and we got to watch something that I have not seen since I was a teenager and I had never seen it in person.
The National Roller Derby Championships were bein held at the mall. They had turned the Ice Palace Rink into a Roller Derby track. I have to admit that I really don't understand the sport but it was fun to watch for awhile anyways

I never really understood it either. I just couldn't/can't figure out why people would purposely want to bash one another while going around a track on roller skates! Of course I don't really understand grown men who like to pile on top of one another while playing with an odd shaped ball either!
