100 and still going strong

The Edmonton Public Library turned 100 years old this year. This is the front of the main library downtown. To honour the occasion the EPL is offering people the chance to get a new library card for free. It is good for one year. They are also offering a prize of a trip to New York City
Cool shot

Nice shot, Brian. What a nice treat of a free library card for a year. It has been a long time since I have been to a library and never have paid for a card. Is this something new for you?

Well captured and a great celebration. I bet that library has seen a lot of change in the last 100 years. Let's hope it's still there in another 100 years.
