So this morning I went to take a picture of the sunrise only to discover a problem with my camera. It would not turn on, and before anyone asks yes the battery was in and it was charged. Apparently I have a problem with the power button. So until I either get it fixed or buy a new one, now I have a good reason for that. I will be posting some filler shots which is not a bad thing because it gives me the chance to post some of those shots that I wanted to but never did.
Having said all of that, this is a shot of the Chateau Louis Hotel located on Kingsway Avenue near the City Centre Airport. I have never stayed here but I have been to their Sunday Brunch which is very good. Tomorrow a B & B which we have stayed in
It looks like a very elegant establishment. Nice shot- I like the fellow on the balcony and the flags- they add a nice touch to the picture. I hope your camera problems are solved soon, but look forward to seeing your other posts in the meantime.
@olivetreeann Ann it is so interesting what others see when they look at someone's picture. I have never noticed the man on the balcony. My attention was always drawn to the flags.By the way Melody bought me a new little P & S so I can keep taking pictures but I will still post some of these older ones for npw
@claireuk Glad you enjoyed this one Claire. As for the camera Melody went out and bought me a little P & S to use for now as it would have cost as much to repair the old one
Nice shot, noting wrong with posting the photos you want to have in your project. I do that too, because better a photo you took deliberatly and like, then going out and taking a shot of anything (thats like posting on instagram- don't get me wrong nothing wrong with posting on instagram, but the way my girls do just to post it)
Sorry to hear about your camera, Brian and so nice of Melody to get you a P&S to use until you can replace or fix your camera. What a beautiful photo, Brian.
Too bad about your camera, but nice to have a filler...that Melody takes care of you!! Lovely shot. I am trying to catch up on my commenting and shots because I was in Edmonton from the 15 to 18th at McEwan University for an educational symposium for Sweet Adelines...much fun and singing was done...but no time for 365!
